When all batsmen scored a zero in an innings !!

A day for Children's Welfare school which they would want to forget at the earliest as their team managed only 7 runs before being all out in a mere tally of 6 overs against Swami Vivekanand International School (SVIS) team at new era ground in Azad Maidan, during the first round of knock outs in Harris Shield tournament.

The epic scorecard with a zero against the name of each batsman.

Highlights :

> Children's Welfare team all out for 7 runs with all batsmen scoring a duck.
> Meet Mayekar scored 338 runs in only 118 balls with 56-fours and 7-sixes.
> SVIS scored 761 runs in 39 overs and won by 754 runs.
> Children's Welfare team suffered a penalty of 156 runs due to slow over rate.
> Alok Pal took a hat-trick for SVIS with 6 wickets for 3 runs.

The SVIS team batted first with Meet Mayekar scoring 338 runs in 118 balls. Since the Children's welfare team maintained a slow over rate and were 6 overs short in their alloted time period of 3 hours, they were charged with a penalty of 156 runs and hence the total of SVIS rose upto 761 runs !!

To the shock of Children's welfare team, they found themselves in a horrifying position where all of their batsman managed only a "Duck" with scoreboard reading 7 runs, that comprised of runs conceded of extras with 6 wides and 1 byes. The medium pacer from SVIS was the main culprit who had put the Children's Welfare batting line up to shame with his hat-trick taking brilliant figures of 6 wickets for only 3 runs. The result was  probably the biggest victory by margin in inter school cricket with SVIS winning by a stupendous 754 runs !!
